Friday, Nov. 2nd: 4:00-5:00 at GTA! We want the girls to run thru the routine several times but will make it a short practice so they can get ready for Homecoming.
Saturday, Nov. 3rd: 11:00-1:00 at GTA! We moved the practice to GTA because we could get in earlier.
We are still checking the website for our competition time. The letter that was mailed stated that cheer would register at 2pm. As soon as we get more details, we will send out word. In the past, Kristen has wanted the girls to have their hair pulled into a high pony tail with curls, so be planning to either roll hair or gel and curl.
The Varsity Cheerleaders have asked us to participate in the pep rally on Friday at Cherry Rd. We hope to have the routine ready to perform at that time. As soon as we get details regarding time and place we will let you know.
You should have received an email with an attachment for the Junior High Football Banquet earlier today. We will not have practice that night so the girls can attend. Please turn in money and forms to Kerry Cancienne.
Stay tuned!

We are counting down to our first competition on Sunday, Nov. 4th. Remember that all practices this week are at GTA (with the possible exception of Friday) because all the gyms are in use because of homecoming. We know this can be an inconvenience, but at least they do get finished earlier!
Tuesday, Oct. 30: 4:00-5:30 at GTA Practice (black skort)
Wednesday, Oct. 31: 4:00-5:30 at GTA Practice (Tshirt/soffes). For anyone who doesn’t have plans for Trick-or-Treating, your children are welcome to come Trick-or-Treat with the Peerys. Zombie Pat will take the kids while Trina stays home and hands out candy. See Trina for directions to the house (in Germantown).
Thursday, Nov. 1: 4:00-5:30 at GTA Practice (blue skort)
Friday, Nov. 2: We will practice. The two possibilities are GTA from 4:00-5:00 or Cherry Rd. from 4:30-5:30. We will know for sure this afternoon. We know this is homecoming and our kids are just as anxious to get home. If GTA is available, it is our first choice because of the timing.
Saturday, Nov. 3: 5:30-7:30 at Cherry Rd. Practice (Baseball Tee/ red skort)
Wednesday is not optional this week. It is a required practice. If anyone can help transport, please contact Karen Baskin for any days this week.
We will be handing out all of the medical waivers today. Be sure to get those filled out and handed in by Thursday along with a check for the competition fees. Harding will pay the state fee but we have to pay the others.
Look for information for Sunday’s competition tomorrow. Right now there is no schedule posted, but we will let you know our times as soon as possible.

There is going to be a lot happening this week and for the next several weeks, so hold on to your hats…
Today, Tuesday, Oct. 23rd: 5:15-7:30 Practice at Cherry Rd. (gray shirt/ black skort). We will possibly share the gym with football at the start of practice.
Wednesday, Oct. 24th: 4:00-5:30 Tumbling at GTA (optional)
Thursday, Oct. 25th: 5:15-7:30 Practice at Cherry Rd. (blue skort) We will roll the mats at 7:15 today so that anyone who wants can attend the play (The Music Man) which begins at 7:30. There is evidently some sort of incentive for the 8th graders to attend, and there may be one for 7th graders as well. Ask your children…they might know.
Friday, Oct. 26th: 4:00-5:30 Practice at Cherry Rd. (red skort)
Saturday, Oct. 27th: Race For The Cure! We will get specifics about time and meeting location to you by Friday. We want the girls to wear their red ringer tee and we will decide on bottoms once we know if it will be hot or cold. This is also the day for All-West tryouts so some of us that signed up will not be able to participate in RFTC but we will be there in spirit!
11:00am Game at Harding. This is the game that was cancelled last night. For those coming from RFTC, you will need to get your daughter to Cherry Rd. by 10:45. For those at All-West, call Trina. I should be able to transport from tryouts to the game.
Immediately following the game we will go to the gym. We have practice scheduled until 3pm at Cherry Rd. We will not worry about changing into a practice uniform. We will probably bring snacks to eat between the game and practice.
Next week is when the real fun begins. We will be practicing off site because of homecoming activities and will practice every day between Monday and the competition the next Sunday. We will get more information out later this week. The girls may come home tired and cranky so be supportive, remind them to ice what hurts and be proud of them. They are working so hard!

Thursday, Oct. 18: 4:45-8:00pm * Be at the football field at Cherry Rd. in uniform. Bring bodysuit. We will cheer for the “B” game then practice until 8pm.
- Anyone interested in participating in Race for the Cure as a service project will need to bring the race form and money in this week.
- Signs for lockers should be brought in Tuesday morning. St. Francis’ mascot is the Timberwolves
- We are really down to crunch time. Competitions will begin before you know it so we really have to come to practice prepared to work. Any absences will negatively affect the practice. We may be squeezing in extra practices as we can get coaching and floor time so be sure to check emails and the blog daily.

Parents, last night your daughter was given an application and letter about Race for the Cure. This is one of the service projects we have chosen to participate in. Please give some thought to whether your daughter will be allowed to do this. We will talk to the girls tonight about it and begin taking up applications. If you have any questions, please let us know.
Thank you for encouraging your daughter to look outside her world.

We play St. Louis School Cardinals on Monday at 6:00pm. The girls need to be at the field by 5:15. We want to try and add some stunts to the halftime routine and will need the extra time.
Please remind your cheerleader to make signs for her players and post them Monday morning.
