The girls placed 5th overall with 96 points, but there was only a 7 point margin between 5th and 3rd, and a 13 point margin between 5th and 2nd. I am very proud of them! They have done an amazing job and have had a great season, and they should be proud.

The guys team did great as well. Although we couldn’t place as a team without a 5th runner, they all did a great job in the race. Way to go!

Moulton, here we come!

MOULTON, AL

September 27th, 2007

I have reserved rooms in Decatur, Alabama, for the Oct. 6th meet. However, the hotel rooms cost a little more than I hoped they would. ($63, on a discount.) Thus, I would like to offer two options:

Option 1: Go to the hotel in Decatur after school (3:45). We check into the hotel (Jameson Hotel), eat a cheaper dinner, and hang out before an early bedtime (yeah right.) We’d wake up around 8 the next morning to head out for the meet.

Option 2: Lock in at Harding Academy on Friday night. We’d go out to eat (Olive Garden), and hang out here at the school. We’d sleep in classrooms, play games, watch a movie, listen to music, etc, and leave early the next morning to head to Moulton (6 AM).

Option 3: We could stay at the hotel in Decatur, but we’d need to bring money for dinner that night.

Let me know what option you think is best: mcgraw.daniel@hardinglions.org
