Band Blog

* All concerts begin at 6:30 pm and are held in the O.O. Emmons Auditorium at Cherry Rd.
* All students must be in the auditorium, appropriately dressed, with instrument ready, at 6:00.
* All student must stay for the ENTIRE concert. (All three bands will play, Beginning Band, Jr. Band, and Sr. Band)

Grading for Concerts:

* All concerts are a QUARTER EXAM GRADE.
* Late - minus 1 letter grade.
* Not in concert attire when you arrive - minus 1 letter grade.
* Forgetting instrument or music - minus 1 letter grade.
* Missing a concert - 0 for the concert grade / minus 2 letter grades for the quarter.

Please note that we must have a $80 deposit by December 16 for all students and chaperones going on the trip in order to hold your spot and get an accurate count for reserving hotel rooms, buying tickets to the amusement park, etc.

Options of payment:
• Mail to Annette Wheless at 7355 Splinter Oak Cv. Germantown 38138.
• Place in envelope marked “Band” and name. Give to Linda Gregory.
• Place in envelope marked “Band” and name. Give to Margaret Wheless.
• You may also turn in your deposit at the Christmas band concert on December 15. We will have a table set up in the foyer.
