Subject: Sports Physicals

Attention all Athletes!
If you will be entering grades 9 - 12 in the fall of this year and will be playing a sport, this announcement is for you. Sport physicals will be given at Campbell Clinic on Saturday, May 21 at 11:30 at the clinic located at 1400 Germantown Rd. The cost is $15 payable in advance to the athletic office. These physicals will be good for the 2005 - 2006 school year, so if interested, please come to the athletic office to sign up and pay for your physical. Students currently in grade 7 may go to U.T. Family Practice on Primacy Parkway this same day, Saturday May 21 from 9-12.

Subject: Cross Country

Any boy currently in grades 8-11 who is interested in running cross country this fall, needs to meet in Coach Rubio's room, room 201 during homeroom tomorrow. Any girl currently in grades 8-11 who is interested in running cross country next year will have a meeting tomorrow during homeroom with Coach Ellis in the auditorium.

Subject: Baseball

The varsity baseball team defeated Catholic on Thursday 13 to 0 in the first round of the West Tennessee regional tournament. Jacob Street pitched a complete game to pick up his first varsity win. In second round action, Shay Crawford pitched a complete game giving up 2 runs on 4 hits while striking out 11 as the Lions defeated Briarcrest 3 to 2. Miles Mayfield's sacrifice fly in the top of the 7th inning drove in the winning run. The Lions will take on St. Benedict today in an elimination game at MUS. Tyler Browning will be on the mound for the Lions. GAME TIME IS 3:45. Repeat, GAME TIME IS 3:45.
