2009-2010 Supply Lists for Spanish I, Spanish II, and Etymology

(All of these items will be needed for the courses listed below. As the school year progresses, there may be other items that need to be purchased for projects, class assignments, etc. I will do my best to keep those expenses to a minimum.)

Spanish I Supply List
*Loose-leaf notebook paper, college ruled or standard
*3-ring hardcover binder with four notebook section dividers
-The section dividers should be labeled as follows:
Useful Phrases, Notes, Homework, Tests/Quizzes
-The course syllabus should be placed in the front of the binder.
*Spiral notebook (180+ sheets) with standard paper for bell work and journal entries
*Spanish/English dictionary
*Brown paper bag for bookcover (non-self-adhesive) for textbook (listen in class for details)
*Pens for notes and activities and pencils for exams
*Assignment book—to be used for all classes

* Language Fair participants: The Language Fair is Saturday, March 28! As of this post, I am still waiting for the University of Memphis to post the Fair Schedule on its website, but I expect for it to be posted today (Friday, 3/20). After it is posted, I will send a letter home explaining what to do on that day. Here is the U of M website: http://fl.memphis.edu/Language%20Fair.htm

I will be available Tuesday 3/24 and Wednesday 3/25 from 3:30-4:15 for students to practice poetry recitation, study vocabulary, and work on projects/cards/posters. I would HIGHLY recommend that you take advantage of these work sessions.
