Dear Parents,
Thank you ever so much for going on the spring 2009 Eighth Grade Washington, D.C. trip this year. What a treat it was to have you with us. Every single parent made this trip special. There is no way to properly express my gratitude for your choice to go. We just could not have the trip without wonderful parents going along to help guide and watch. I know it was a huge sacrifice of time and/or money, and perhaps precious vacation time, for you to go. I will always be grateful for your choice. Your child and other students will always cherish these moments you chose to share with the class. This good deed will not be forgotten. These are the moments they will treasure in their hearts as they get older. You did a really good thing. Hope you had fun along the way. We did. Thank you so much.
Mrs. Davis

The UV Index is lower in D.C. than in Memphis. For example, today it is a 9 here and a 4 in D.C. There will be times when we will be outside. You may want to consider sunscreen for sure and perhaps a hat.

Not everyone has brought the book from home to school for the book check. This must be done no later than Thursday. The book may go back home until exams. This is not to turn the book in for the year, just to let us know you have it and it is in reasonable condition.
